Extend your answers of previous question and relate your achievements / strengths / interests / aptitude to the present job requirements 2. undertake your brief SWOT analysis and relate your capabilities to the present position. 3. relate the present job to your career goal and your career anchors.
Q 3: How much salary do you want? 1. dont speak out – first try to get it from the company – know about the hr policy of the company - avoid talking about this issue in the first round of interview 2. If you are pressed to speak out your requirements – spell out your requirements 3. Learn the art of negotiations – it is necessary to have a good idea about the leverage / decision making freedoms of other party
Q 4 : Can you work anywhere? Say yes – if you dont have any preferences – if you have any preferences – mention them with reasons it is better to be flexible about these issues and remember that you should not be a constraint for the company – you may be transferable as per company's requirements.
Q 5: when will you join? Be practical before you commit. Know about HR terms and conditions, pay package, working conditions etc. before you commit. Take up enough time for joining date – so that you are fully prepared when you join dont ask for leave just after leaving. You have to ensure that when you join, you are able to put in your best and create a good first impression.

References ..... Avoid giving caste based references – give merit based references and join only those organisations, which value merit and where merit is rewarded. Take permission before giving references.
